Revisiting my awkward(est) years, one Baby-Sitters Club book at a time.
Ooh ooh, can I request a book? Do "Get Well Soon, Mallory!" ^^
Has anyone read any of the new Babysitter's Clubs books where they graduate 8th grade?Would it be a total waste of like 2 dollars to buy a used one online...?
^ Do you mean the "BSC Friends Forever" series? Well... I've heard mixed reviews. Actually no, I've heard bad reviews. There's pretty much no mention of babysitting, the editing is really shoddy (apparently they misspelled Stacey [they had it as Stacy] in one of the books), and it really wasn't in the same vein as the original series. It might be worth buying it just to experience it - I've never read any, after all, so don't take my word for it!
Happy New Year, everybody! May it be full of outrageous jewellery and side pony tails! :P
Dawn's Big Date would be a nice choice for review since they have a New Year's Eve sleepover in that one (complete with peanut butter logs and English muffin pizzas. Yup I remember.)Happy New Year, all!
Thanks to this blog my sister bought me a 'Claud Kit' for christmas. It consisted of a bright pink and black hair band/bandana thing, some chunky purple jewelery (plastic of course), and some purple and white stripy woollen tights (well thats what we call 'em in england, would they be called pantyhose dans le USA?). Oh and I can't be forgetting the dinosaur stickers 'to make my college books real chilly'. I think she spent a total of 5 quid but it was honestly the best Christmas ever.Happy New Year everyone, and thanks a lot to Tiff for the best form of procrastination I know, you're a legend mate.
